This yoga class will be 45 minutes of energetically flowing through a variety of postures (asanas). It is a medium intensity class, appropriate for beginners and intermediate practitioners. One should be able to get up and down from the floor as a prerequisite to participate. The practice will start with a short meditation and warm up, focusing on the breath (pranayama). It will then build up through two flows, followed by extended holds in postures to stretch the connective tissues, and end with another short meditation to close the practice. Equipment is not required but it can be helpful to have a yoga block, blanket, and yoga strap nearby to assist the practice to your needs.
